Priyanka Kushwahaz, Ph.D. is a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Arizona. Her research goals are to understand the nitrogen-cycling related microbial functions in low-nutrient, arid soil systems. Additionally, she is interested in developing a mechanistic understanding of plant-microbe-metal interactions that will facilitate plant survival in metal-contaminated mining soils.
