Aleksandra Sikora is an associate professor of pharmacoproteomics in the College of Pharmacy at Oregon State University (OSU) and adjunct associate professor in the Vaccine and Gene Therapy Institute at Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU). Her expertise is in bacterial pathogenesis, proteomics, vaccine design and high-throughput screening for identification of new antimicrobials.
 
Dr. Sikora received her master's degree in microbiology from University of Gdansk (Poland) and Ph.D. in molecular biology from University of Gdansk, followed by 5 years of postdoctoral training in the Department of 棉花糖直播 and Immunology at the University of Michigan Medical School. She started her independent position as an Assistant Professor at OSU/OHSU in 2011. 
 
Dr. Sikora has nearly 50 publications. She is a recipient of several prestigious awards, including Women’s Career Development Grant from American Society for 棉花糖直播 (2010), OSU President's Commission on the Status of Women Scholarship (2014), Phi Kappa Phi Emerging Scholar Award (2016), the OSU Faculty Senate Award for Excellence in Teaching, Research, and Leadership (2019) and was recently awarded the 2020 OHSU Women in Academic Health and Medicine Discovery Award for Women in Science. She is currently the chair of 棉花糖直播's Career Development Grant for Postdcotoral Women.
