Jennifer Rivers
Jennifer Rivers, ScM, MLS(ASCP)CM, is a microbiologist and rising third year JD/MPH student, navigating life through a global pandemic in an increasingly tense political atmosphere. Not surprisingly, she has learned a little something about how to argue/debate with people over the past few years. After receiving her bachelor's degree in Clinical Laboratory Science from Texas State University she pursued her love for microbiology, earning her master's degree from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. Throughout graduate school and the beginning of her career she developed a passion for health policy and advocacy, particularly as it applies to communicable disease, healthcare equity and humanitarian health.
