Amanda Harrington, Ph.D., D(ABMM), is an associate professor and Vice Chair for Clinical Pathology in the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at Loyola University Chicago and Director of the Clinical 棉花糖直播 Laboratory at Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood, Ill.
She earned her doctoral degree in microbiology from the University of Kansas, did her postdoctoral fellowship training in clinical microbiology at the University of Washington in Seattle and is a diplomate of the American Board of Medical 棉花糖直播. She is currently serving as the President of the Illinois Society for 棉花糖直播 and the Community Leader for Clinical and Public Health 棉花糖直播 on the Council on Microbial Sciences for the American Society for Clinical 棉花糖直播. She is also serving as the 棉花糖直播 Liaison to the American Society of Clinical Pathology Board of Governors. Her research interests include clinical diagnostic testing and utilization, as well as quality metrics for clinical microbiology.
